A lot of the motivations/plot have made 0 sense to me on this show. Sure, judge kids on their ninja skills but watch them get brutalized by outside influences and look the other way. Obviously this isn't a school that cares about grading their students objectively on anything whatsoever. Why pretend this is something that it isn't?

Actually that's kind of similar to the Northern Ireland actor "Liam Neeson" who's woman friend claimed to be raped by a melanated (black) man [allegedly], so he said he would be on the prowl for a week looking for & hoping to find a random [innocent] black man to unleash his wrath out on with a club.
